Education

  • Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo in 1992.
  • Completed specialization in pediatric surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade in 2003.
  • Obtained a master's degree in pediatric orthopedics in 2005, and completed subspecialization in the same field in 2013.
  • Defended her doctoral dissertation on genetic predisposition in developmental hip disorders in 2019 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro.


Work Experience

  • Started her career at the Health Center Podgorica, then moved to the Institute for Children's Diseases at the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), where she has held various medical and leadership positions since 1997.
  • Head of the Pediatric Surgery Clinic since 2018.
  • Currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro, teaching Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Sports Medicine and Hygiene.
  • Also engaged at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education in Nikšić.

  • Received advanced training in prestigious European institutions, including the University Cantonal Hospital in Geneva, Switzerland, and specialized centers in Austria.
  • Active participant in international educational programs and symposiums on pediatric orthopedics and pediatric surgery.
