Dr. Milica Marković Vlaisavljević is a specialist in internal medicine and subspecialist in rheumatology, currently engaged as a rheumatologist at Careggi and as an assistant at the Department of Clinical Sciences – Rheumatology, Faculty of Medicine in Florence, under Prof. Marco Matucci Cerinic.
She was born in Cetinje. She holds a license to practice and is a member of the Medical Chamber of Montenegro, as well as the Medical Chamber of Rome. She is a member of the Association of Rheumatologists of Montenegro and the Association of Rheumatologists of Italy.
Education
She completed her medical degree on time at the Roman University La Sapienza in 2010, with the highest grade and commission commendation.
She completed her specialization in internal medicine, focused on rheumatology, in 2016 at the same university, at the Sant'Andrea University Hospital, also with the highest grade.
She completed her subspecialization in rheumatology in 2019 with an excellent grade at the Rheumatology Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine, Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.
She began her training in expert musculoskeletal ultrasound during her specialization, continued during her subspecialization and through numerous courses organized by the Association of Rheumatologists of Italy and EULAR. She holds a certificate for the EULAR capillaroscopy course.
Work experience and professional activities
As part of the rheumatology team at Sant'Andrea Hospital "La Sapienza", where she was engaged as a rheumatologist-research associate, she conducted scientific research in the field of rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis.
She worked as an internist-rheumatologist at the Rheumatology Department of the Internal Medicine Clinic KCCG, and subsequently in private practice.
She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and professional papers in the field of rheumatology and actively participates in professional and educational programs at the international level.
