• Dr. Snežana Rakić was born on November 18, 1962, in Zemun.

Education

• She completed primary school and the 12th Belgrade Gymnasium, as a recipient of the Vuk Karadžić diploma.
• In the academic year 1980/81, she enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade and graduated in May 1986 with an average grade of 9.25.
• From 1981 to 1986, she worked as a demonstrator at the Institute of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and published student papers in the journal Medicinski podmladak.
• She enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.

• She served as secretary of the Yugoslav Association for the Application of Ultrasound in Biology, Veterinary Medicine, and Medicine, secretary of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Section of the Serbian Medical Society (SLD), and president of the Perinatal Medicine Section of the Serbian Medical Society (SLD) (2000–2004).
