What is a rheumatological ultrasound (MSK) and why is it performed?
MSK ultrasound is a specialized ultrasound examination of the joints, tendons, and soft tissues. It is used for the early detection of inflammation, joint effusion, cartilage damage, and injuries to tendons and ligaments.
