What is the removal of skin lesions, and why is it done?

Removal of skin lesions (cysts, lipomas, fibromas, etc.) is performed in cases of discomfort, lesion growth, for aesthetic reasons, or when malignancy is suspected. If needed, the removed tissue is sent for histopathological analysis.

What does the procedure include?
