eM6C 4D Matrix – fully electronic matrix probe

The eM6C is the first fully electronic 4D matrix probe developed for gynecology and obstetrics. Unlike standard volumetric probes, it uses fully electronic Matrix technology, without mechanical movement of elements within the probe. This enables extremely fast data acquisition, real-time display, and very precise visualization of fetal development, anatomy, and movements. The high acquisition speed contributes to a more stable 4D display and more reliable assessment of fetal structures, including the heart.

RM7C 4D XDclear – advanced XDclear technology

The RM7C uses XDclear and Active Matrix Array technology, which provide an exceptionally high level of resolution and clarity in 2D, 3D, and 4D modes. Thanks to advanced ultrasound signal processing, detailed assessment of the fetal heart, blood flow (Doppler), brain, face, spine, and other important anatomical structures is possible. The high image quality contributes to more precise prenatal diagnostics and greater reliability of the ultrasound examination.

The combination of eM6C and RM7C probes represents one of the most advanced configurations available for prenatal ultrasound diagnostics.

When is the ideal time for a 4D ultrasound?

A 4D examination can be performed throughout pregnancy, depending on medical indication and the gynecologist’s recommendation.

The period between the 20th and 24th week of pregnancy is considered ideal because it allows for a very clear view of the baby’s anatomy, movements, and development.

During this period, the following can most often be observed:

• baby’s face and profile
• arm and leg movements
• facial expressions and grimaces
• development of anatomical structures

After this period, the examination is still possible, but the quality of the image depends on the baby’s position, the amount of amniotic fluid, the placenta’s position, and other individual factors.

Photos and video recording of the examination

To preserve the memory of this special moment, after the examination, expectant mothers receive photos and a video recording of the 4D examination in electronic form, via Viber or WhatsApp.
