Prim. Assist. Dr. Sci. Med. Predrag Ilić is a specialist in pediatric surgery, a subspecialist in pediatric urology, Head of the Department of Urology at the Institute for Health Care of Mother and Child of Serbia “Dr Vukan Čupić”, a primarius, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and a Clinical Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 1997. He completed his specialization in pediatric surgery in 2003, and his subspecialization in pediatric urology in 2011. year.
Since 2011, he has been Head of the Department of Urology at the Institute for Health Care of Mother and Child of Serbia “Dr Vukan Čupić”, and he obtained the title of primarius in 2016.
He is a Clinical Assistant at the Department of Surgery with Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. From 2015 to 2019, he served as President of the Pediatric Surgery Section of the Serbian Medical Society.
Master’s thesis:
“The importance of a minimally invasive approach in the surgical treatment of primary vesicoureteral reflux in children” – 2009.
Doctoral dissertation:
“The role of laser endoscopic lithotripsy in the surgical treatment of urolithiasis in children” – 2016.
Areas of professional practice: general pediatric surgery and all segments of pediatric urology – congenital anomalies of the kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder, anomalies of the external genitalia, undescended testes, phimosis, hypospadias, inguinal hernias, tumors of the urogenital system, and kidney stones.
He performs clinical examinations, ultrasound examinations of the urinary tract, assessment and planning of surgical treatment, follow-up examinations after surgery, as well as minor surgical procedures under local anesthesia.
