Hematologist–Oncologist Consultation

Hematologist–Oncologist Consultation

The consultation is performed by Prof. Dr Nadežda Basara, a leading hematologist and oncologist, an internationally recognized expert in hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplantation. The consultation is intended for all hematology and oncology patients, as well as for individuals with suspected conditions in these areas.

What is a hematologist–oncologist consultation and why is it done?

The consultation is recommended for anemia; abnormal red blood cell, white blood cell, or platelet counts; enlarged lymph nodes; unexplained fatigue; frequent infections; a tendency to bleed; and when hematologic or oncologic diseases are suspected. It can also be done preventively, especially for people with a family risk.
